1. Scope of Service

Kalar Solar provides professional solar PV cleaning using deionized (DI) water and specialized solar-safe equipment.

  • Exclusions: We do not provide electrical repairs, wiring, inverter maintenance, or structural roofing repairs. Our service is strictly limited to the external cleaning and visual inspection of the panel surfaces.

2. Customer Obligations

To ensure a successful service, the customer agrees to:

  • Access: Provide clear access to the property and the solar array.

  • Utilities: Provide access to a functional external water faucet (hose bib).

  • Safety: Ensure that pets are secured and that any obstacles around the perimeter of the building are cleared prior to our arrival.

3. Weather and Rescheduling

Solar cleaning requires specific weather conditions for technician safety and optimal results.

  • Kalar Solar reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to high winds (exceeding 25 mph), lightning, heavy rain, or extreme heat.

  • In the event of a weather-related delay, we will notify you as soon as possible to book the next available slot.

4. Liability and Warranty Compliance

  • Warranty: Our cleaning methods (soft-brush, low pressure, DI-water) are designed to comply with major solar panel manufacturer warranties.

  • Pre-existing Damage: Kalar Solar is not liable for pre-existing conditions such as micro-cracks, “snail trails,” delamination, or electrical faults discovered during cleaning.

  • Damage Claims: We are fully insured. Any claims for damage caused directly by our technicians must be reported within 48 hours of service completion.

5. Payment and Cancellations

  • Payment: Due upon completion of service unless a prior billing arrangement is in place for commercial contracts.

  • Cancellation Policy: We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a “Short Notice Fee” of [Insert Amount].

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kalar Solar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services, including but not limited to lost energy production during downtime.
